'Ae hiki no! Yes We Can! Our goal is to raise $1 million to acquire a permanent home for the Obama Hawaiian Africana Museum. All donations, pledges, and membership fees will go directly to the non-profit museum. Join the walk! Help us celebrate and honor the birthplace of 44th U.S. President.
Since 2018, the Obama Birthday Walk has raised well over $20,000 in support of honoring the birthplace of the First African-American U.S. President's legacy. Next year we seek to raise $100,000 to help the Obama Hawaiian Africana Museum preserve two-centuries of cultural heritage and history about early settlers' Africana descendants in Hawaiian Islands.
